The Ceiba Connections Curriculum Navigator is a structured rubric for evaluating curriculum across eight categories: academic rigor, worldview, representation of voices, adaptability, accessibility, educational philosophy, community supports, and ethos alignment. We publish it under Creative Commons so any educator can use it. 
 
The rubric is rooted in Dr. Rudine Sims Bishop’s framework of mirrors, windows, and sliding glass doors, asking whether a curriculum reflects a learner back to themselves, opens onto lives and ideas outside their own world, and leaves room to step into something new. The rubric describes a curriculum’s worldview and pedagogy rather than grading them, so it applies the same way across any tradition or philosophy.
